What is an association?
An association is an organization that brings people together to
facilitate common interests and objectives. Many associations in
the Philadelphia area, such as community chambers of commerce and
professional and trade organizations, make available Independence
Blue Cross (IBC) and Keystone Health Plan East products to their
members.
Association Administrators provide services for associations and
their members, including customer service, billing and problem
resolution.
Association membership enables an individual or a small employer
the opportunity to benefit from the wisdom, experience and bargaining
power of a large group with similar interests and objectives.
Many associations offer educational programs throughout the year
and conduct seminars to benefit their members.
